Im starting the gf on Twin Peaks. Every time I put it on, I just think....”It’s SO good.” Right away I’m yet again reminded that all in all it is probably my single favorite thing ever on TV. I don’t think it’s particularly close either. It just has this nostalgic hold over me, it makes me feel like I am completely transported to that rainy weird town. Its completely timeless, too.
What a treat to watch someone get into it for the first time!
Am on season 2 of Channel Zero ; it is a solid horror show similar to Black Mirror in many aspects, albeit just a notch lower, me thinks, but definitely worth a watch
I always think I've seen every single episode of The Twilight Zone at least three times over, but every few years when I watch a TZ New Year's marathon I find one I've never seen before. The Grave (S3E7) is a great classic old-timey ghost story with Lee Marvin and Lee van Cleef both bringing their A game. What a gem from one of the best shows of all time.
Still remember seeing An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge on the Twilight Zone. It was a French short film that won awards at Cannes, and the rights were purchased by the Twilight Zone's producers to air in the US. They only had rights the show it twice, so I don't think it ever has aired in syndication. So, even many fans of the show have never seen it. About an hour long and almost completely free of dialogue. Worth checking out if you can find it.

Hmm, I'm not so sure it's that restricted, I remember watching it as part of a New Year's marathon like a decade or little longer ago. Confirmed great "episode."
TZ was a show that fired on all cylinders, and for my money it's the best TV program of all time. Fantastic writing, acting, directing, visuals, sound design. Sometimes it gave you high-concept sci-fi, sometimes it was goofy comedy, sometimes it just scared the everloving **** out of you. The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street might be my favorite, but it's hard to say.
HBO was running The Sopranos episodes the other day and I started watching toward the end of season 2 and got hooked for the rewatch in honor of the 20 years.
5.5 episodes through You and some of the things that happen are ridiculously dumb, involving characters constantly doing things that make zero sense or are totally unrealistic. A lot of the secondary characters are way too caricature-esque as well Still, it's very watchable, anyways, and I find all of these aspects more entertaining than tilting. It's a strangely satisfying guilty pleasure.
Started The netflix Original Dark this past week. Hooked through 2 episodes. About a small German town where kids go missing. So far, pretty creepy and worth a look.

I watched this recently. Will be curious to hear your thoughts after you see the entire season.
I loved that show, cant wait for season 2 this year. The twist in episode 4 or 5 was amazing (you know what)still think about it sometimes lol. Going to rewatch in a few months
The whole atmosphere and the way the show deals with time travel is so, so good.

I'm liking this Handmaid's Tale show, love the wacky dystopian vibe. Just got it for free on dvd from my public library, excellent resource! Nice to see tax dollars actually doing some good for the world.
Can you recommend something similar to Crashing please? I was not big on new wave comedy/drama when choosing what to watch but i found this genre quite refreshing and would want to follow up on crashing with smth similar. Thanks.
Designated Survivor: stay away from this nonsense. It's combines the implausible plot-twists of 24, the starry-eyed optimism of the West Wing (hard to go 15 minutes without an inspiring Presidential speech - backed up by a soaring orchestral track) and Sutherland, playing a neutered Jack Bauer: all the angst-y looks, but with none of the torture.
Punisher Season 2: two episodes in and it continues to be the best of the Marvel shows that Netflix did. It's early, and the main villain hasn't made an appearance, but the feel & style of the show works.
I am re-watching It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia with my 17 year old son. He seems to like it. We like to debate who is the least vile of the characters.
We both think it is Charlie.
Which Charlie Day does a great job playing the character.
