No. I've got ones that are twenty-five years old. If you keep them out of direct sunlight, they last.

I found one, Magnetism for Men, in a store in West Virginia, long after it was discontinued for 15 bucks. It still smells the same 15 years after I bought it. Sellers on eBay are trying to get 400.00 or more now.

I always thought they started out bad

I remember rocking Old Spice, Hai Karate, Brut and English Leather back in the day. My favorite was Canoe but was never a cologne guy. In later days I sometimes used Clubman because that was what the barbers used giving it legitmacy
