That ****ing Signing Nun song followed me all through school. Little bastards would sing it at me all damn day.

Tie a Yellow Ribbon was inescapable when I was a kid also.

To that list I'd add "Mr. Jaws" (this was a terrible novelty song that I nonetheless found hilarious as a kid... I am not sure if it was popular nationwide but it played constantly on NYC radio).

Two others that come to mind are "Junk Food Junkie" and "Makin' It" ("makin it, nonstop! makin it, to the top!")
