I think I've posted at least one brew day TR-type post in this thread, if not then I was the OP so it shouldn't be too hard to search.
The best reference hands-down is John Palmer's
How To Brew. He's got one version available free online, but every brewer I know, home or pro, has a hard copy at home. The print version has more info. Anywho, one of the chapters is basically a step-by-step for those just wanting to get their first batch done without getting bogged down in details or science.
All,
Sierra Nevada's XXX, their anniversary impy stout, just hit Nashville and I picked up a bottle yesterday. I'll be cracking it tomorrow afternoon, but has anybody else had a chance to try it out?
EDIT: $10 for a caged, corked 750, if the beer is decent at all it seems like great value.
