I am interested in the Cantillons as well, let me know what you have.

Have a look at my cellar, nothing too special but maybe something you may want.

thanks guys. I'm going to trade 1 bottle for some Heady Toppers (I had about 4 ounces of that once, been wanting more badly) then think about what I really want to have for the others.

I went to this as well; of the 3 I have been to (American Craft, Belgian, and Extreme) this was definitely my least favorite, just b/c of the lack of "comfort" beers. (I went Saturday night, I think some of these like Heady Topper were gone by then?). The flip side is that there were many more harder to find beers, crazy stuff I would never have the opportunity (or inclination) to buy.

I already bought my tickets for the Belgian fest in September which I'm excited about.

Rübæus from Founders is crazy good.

Speaking of Founders, just booked a night in Grand Rapids later this summer. Founders, Hopcat and Stella's will all be happening.

Leinenkugel's honey Weiss and summer shandy are great. Made in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin and distributed in the upper Midwest United States.

I've been brewing a lot lately. Berliner weisse, wheat pale ale and I'm planning on a sweet stout today. Anybody have recommendations with a sweet stout whether its a recipe or just tips?

Great and summer shandy are two words that don't belong in the same sentence

i dont remember it being mentioned ITT, but has anyone had Head Hunter from Fat Head? A buddy of mine had been hyping it up to me the last month or so, and i got to try it last week. Its a really good american style IPA that may surpass Alpha King for my go to. Its $13 for a 4 pack, but worth every penny.

I have not, but it's on my list of IPAs to trade for along with White Rajah and Columbus IPA. Heading down to Cigar City this weekend. Going to go to the brewpub for some food then the tasting room for a flight.

Just got a 4pack of that yesterday for $10, bottled less than 2 weeks ago. In the fridge, haven't cracked it yet. I'm optimistic, but at that price it's going up against SN Torpedo, which is a bit cheaper and faaaaantastic.

If any of you really really want some they had plenty on the shelf, so give me a PM and we'll work it out. I'm not a trader really, but if you're super interested I can make the effort.

I was thinking of grabbing a 6 pack to try this out. Any feedback on it?

Torpedo is one of my standbys, but head hunter is quite a bit better imo.

Hey guys, Currently live in California an hour away from firestone walker brewery and pretty good access to any Ca brewery. Would be interested in trading for any good beer I can't get my hands on. Founders, three floyds, bells, anything really from out that way.

Also, that is no where in the price range of torpedo in my area. Torpedo is $13 /12, head hunter is $13/4

I dont really have any photos to post, but the NHC was amazing. If any of you have a chance to go at least once you have to. I was blown away by Club Night, such an incredible display of world class beers. From Barrel Aged Imperial Stout to a Gueuze on cask, and the many Pale Ales, IPAs, and Berliner Weisses in between it was amazing.

Not to mention the people, everyone is so friendly.

xpost - enjoying a Heady Topper right now. I think what separates this from the other great IPA's I have had is the big maltiness. this is far from the hop bomb that almost any other double IPA is. amazing with huge fruity hops flavor the whole way but balances out. the only other big IPA I have had that I enjoyed almost as much was Enjoy By, but that was a much different taste

never tasted either Pliny

just fyi, Heady Topper doesn't even get distributed in New England, it barely makes it out of northern Vermont officially. they do brisk sales at the brewery, so most people drinking it in NH/ME/Boston/NYC have done a roadtrip (or had a buddy do one) up there and muled back a bunch of cases.

I may have a friend doing that next week actually.
