7 years on 2+2 and the first time visiting the lounge, look what I found.
My avatar is Sugar with his eyes fixed on a plate of sushi/sashimi I am giving him. He passed away last August at the age of ~22. Those in the NVG FT threads know him as I used to talk about him there over the years while waiting to get our money back. I inherited him when he was 7.
I had written a rather long post but I will leave it at this for now.
Wow, 22! That's incredible. I've never heard of a cat living that long. Sorry for your loss, waq. He's a cutie.
My new Oriental Shorthair, Stache has been with me now for a whole week. He's 7 months old and absolutely loves my 16 year old Oriental boy, Romeo to bits. Here's few recent pics.
He was born with it. Some people think its fake or that I used a sharpie. It's pretty wicked in person seeing him run around and jump all over the place

That's hilarious, I just glanced at it yesterday and thought it was photo-shop.
My dog just had a growth removed and she's all tuckered out. She's 7 and we had a couple lumps removed from her about 4 years ago and were clear since then.
The costs were not too bad $600 last time and $400 this time but it sucks seeing her have to get surgery. She's also extra tired since she was in the kennel for 4 days and I don't think she sleeps much at the kennel. Poor bebe.
Thank you. Oddly enough, she was in the kennel b/c we were in San Antone for 4 days. It's so much drier there than here - it was nice. People from other states were talking about how hot and humid it was and my wife and I were going on about how dry it was (and how nice it was to stroll the Riverwalk without perspiring much - an all but impossibility for me here in H-Town).
My dog would want to kill that poor dog based purely on it's size (when I say kill I mean bark aggressively and be a right mongrel without actually doing anything )
Got the wife 2 brother Persian cats for valentines day a couple years back. Friendliest cats i've ever seen. We shave them a couple times a year this is a week or so after a shaving.

Why do you shave them? We had Persians when I was a kid (lovely cats) but never had them shaved
It's easier to manage their knots. You don't have to brush them every other day. It also keeps them alot cooler in the heat. They also love being shaved and purr the entire time.
