for the Comic Book film Genre fans... Specifically Ghost World.

After searching for years for an HD version of Jaan Pehechan Ho ("Let's Know Each Other") 1965... with Mohammed Rafi, I was FINALLY able to source a copy of the complete Video in 1080p

set your res to 1080p

That was ****ing fantastic. Ted Lyons and His Cubs is the band, and it looks like Prince took his style cues from those dancers.

Watched Annihilation last night. Kind of a cross between Tarkovsky's Stalker and Solaris. For some reason, it seemed like a movie I had seen before even though I hadn't.

I think I will watch Garland's Men tonight.

Men didn't work for me. It was tense in a Dario Argento sort of way although I enjoy Argento's films more. It doesn't quite work as horror, and it's not nearly as good as Ex Machina or Annihilation. And the message is heavy-handed whatever that message might be.

But Rory Kinnear is terrific (he did the best Hamlet I've ever seen).

Never understood why Kinnear isn't a bigger star. He can do anything.

Gareth Edward's The Creator...

Shooting shooting shooting Missles missles missles robots robots robots!

Robots good... People Bad.

If AI wrote a movie script, this is it... as a matter of fact, I bet it was.

There’s been a lack of really great comedies for quite awhile, but I just saw Bottoms and it’s one of the funnier movies I’ve seen in years. The director also made Shiva Baby, which was good but I didn’t expect something quite this good coming next.

Came across something called Moonwalkers the other night. It was one of those not-very-good movies that somehow drew me in a bit.

In1969 London, Ron Perlman plays an ex-Vietnam vet CIA agent. He's tasked with finding the people to film a fake the moon landing in case the real one goes sideways--in seven days' time.

Rupert Grint is the manager of a band. To say they're struggling is an understatement. Somehow, he cons Perlman into believing he's the guy to pull this off, then attempts to make off with the up-front money the CIA provided. Needless to say, Perlman is upset by this. Mayhem ensues. Lots of it.

It was getting late, so I didn't get to the end. One of those, "it's so dumb, it's fun" sorta things. May watch again if I see it, but not worth searching out.
