if you hate that overtly slow corny dialog routine, you're gonna love the double feature I watched today...
First was Steve Buscemi acted/directed
Trees Lounge (1996)... A great ACTION PACKED no holes bared STAR PACKED thriller about a guy that always gets the girl and the destruction that he leaves in his wake as he sidles his way thru life.
After that I watched a fantastic action drama called
Bagdad Cafe (1987) where the badass 'Artist' Jack Palance falls in love, steals another mans wife and runs roughshod over a small collection of eclectic individuals all trapped in a foreboding run down Diner...
check out those two WONDERFUL films if you want some modern action choreography and action storytelling, they are great.
