+1. And I can't think of a more perfect Lady MacBeth than Frances McDormand. I immediately pictured the whole thing, including her giving Toshiro Mifune "the look," just as if he had told her that the King of Scotland was going to take off on a bus with a rock 'n roll band.
Yes, God, Yes Cute little movie about growing up in catholic school. Nancy Wheeler from Stranger Things is the lead and she is really good in this. The movie is based off of a short film and I don't think there was enough material for even an 80 minute movie. 7/10.
Wow, Charlie Kaufman, Jessie Buckley, and Jesse Plemons? Yes, please. Buckley killed it in Taboo and Chernobyl.
I’m here for the hell yeah! Eternal Sunshine is one of my favorites. Plemons has been excellent in everything I’ve seen. Kaufman playing around with time sounds amazing.
Cul-de-sac movie night last night. Somebody else picked Billy Madison.
Sometimes I like Adam Sandler, but this was just terrible. I realize it's not serious moviemaking, but the story should at least hold together a little bit.
Kind of too bad, it was the neighbors' last night before they move. Would've much preferred to send them out with something at least watchable.
Fortunately, I had a fridge full of beer, so could hang out and tend the fire pit at least.
Do not agree. It’s been a couple years, and it’s no Happy Gilmore, but Billy Madison is quality. Sandler, Farley and Norm doing their thing is a good time. Obviously the plot is dumb but it also mostly makes sense?
Once Upon a Time in the West is easily in the Top Five Westerns of all time. It was recently chosen so in our film draft, just completed. And Claudia Cardinale. And the best musical score. And....“Well... I gotta go.....”
Probably a top 5 movie for me period. This along with Once Upon A Time In America.
I font why this is probably one of my favorite scenes of all time.
