Another cul-de-sac movie Friday, showed the young people Goodfellas.

To be fair, it was close to midnight when we got done, and everyone more or less just shuffled off. I'm hoping as sunset gets earlier, we'll end earlier and have discussions after for the rest of the summer.

Gunfighter with a heart of gold - check.
Beautiful rich widow prostitute - check.
Horses, trains, and lots of gunfights - check.

This has everything a western should have. Plenty of close in face shots with menacing music as well. Lots of fun.

I was about 14 when I first watched One Upon A Time In the West, and to see Henry Fonda - and American legend - shoot a whole family, including a child, was completely shocking and made me think of movies in a different way.

Once Upon a Time in the West is easily in the Top Five Westerns of all time. It was recently chosen so in our film draft, just completed. And Claudia Cardinale. And the best musical score. And....“Well... I gotta go.....”
