The Man Who Killed Don Quixote is quite a unique film... unlike most modern film making.
Some might use the word dated or old school (to describe the film making) yet despite the firmly Gilliam style the movie delivers quite the wondrous journey.
Does Sancho Panza help Don Quixote on a last quest, or perhaps it is the other way around... in fact, who is Sancho Panza and who is Don Quixote... and in the end in real life in the real world, who plays these rolls.
The movie is probably not the cup if tea enmasse, but if you enjoy movies like Brazil, Time Bandits you should also enjoy this movie.
After watching lost in la mancha 15 years ago i cannot even imagine watching the real movie with different actors from the documentary.
Some of the original footage is in this movie... used in a unique way. And for what it is worth, they were able to source the ORIGINAL Don Quixote costume for the supporting roll.
There was a special feature post film that talked about the making of the movie.
Should I be tilted that people/critics/swine are snorting and oinking about The Silence being a rip-off of A Quiet Place when the book The Silence was published in 2015?
Because I'm really tilted, like, on a number of levels.

The new Hellboy reboot was a mess. David Harbour was fine as a Perlman replacement but the movie had bigger issues. It's probably the worst edited "big budget" movie I've ever seen. Things just happen and characters just show up with very little build up/explanation. While are there are some cool ideas/CGI sequences, some of the CGI is absolutely abysmal and there are long pieces of dialogue that are very dry/not funny.
Overall It just seems like Hellboy was an unfinished movie that needed a bigger budget but the studio decided not to sink in more money and patched it together just to get it out there which is a shame because there are some really cool sequences in it.
Michelle Yeoh is supposed to captain a new Star Trek series. Zhang Ziyi (with short hair) is in the Godzilla movie being released this summer. No Idea what Chow Yun-Fat is up to.
I want to watch Discovery and the new Twilight Zone, but not enough to pay for another subscription service.
The original TZ is my favorite tv show ever, and I've enjoyed the earlier reboots as well. Plus I talked liked Get Out and Us. But I just watched the first two new TZ episodes and they were both bad.
If you have a chance to see Amazing Grace on the big screen with a good sound system, please do so. It's now my favorite concert film, and I can't even remember what my previous favorite was. (Maybe Stop Making Sense?)
Zhang Ziyi and I are the same age, and after CTHD I think she will forever be my movie star crush...
Yes and yes. Chow Yun Fat is GOAT and might be my alter ego. Michelle Yeoh is the best actress in everything she plays in.
All three of these actors had incredible chemistry in CTHD. Just something else to see them playing off of each other.

Man, that sucks. TZ might also be my favorite show of all time --even more so than Star Trek. And I love the movies that Peale is making. My hopes for the new TZ were sky high.

Motown was the acme of pop music, and Aretha was the queen. Just so effortless in her delivery.
