I've had seizures since I was 41. I went ten years without one, but when docs changed meds, I had a couple. The last was two years ago until last Monday. The rule is you're supposed to be seizure free for six months before being allowed to drive.
Blood tests showed elevated enzymes, but since I was sick, the cardiologist felt the viruses affected that. The catherization showed an old blockage but nothing that required a stent.
So basically just a lot of stuff happening at once. The on call neurologist said that cough medicine could cause seizures. Of course, I didn't know that or I wouldn't have taken any.
