Okay, Ray, I broke down after hearing my 20 month great niece greet me with "Johnny" as I walked in and getting to hold my one week old second great niece. The weather now is immaterial. I am Mr. Sunshine.

Problem:

It's currently summer time on the West Coast.

Next time I will send you a pm so you are aware, Ray. But I move to my own rhythm. The day and date mean nothing to me.

good explanation now i understand fully. no wonder zeno stayed an extra day to recuperate.

aside even though its spring cold and snow is still hitting many spots. but i got ten hummingbirds wiping out my two feeders of water every day and a bald eagle eating on a dead deer carcass a bit at a time.

Stars is a bit much. He was lucky it was 6-2 with 14 minutes left in a meaningless game. No one was going to do anything too bad to him. Buff had a chance to give him a full slapshot and didn't.

Still, the emergency backup is a great hockey quirk. Imagine if baseball had an emergency catcher.

i liked baseball where the pitcher had to hit because he played the whole game most times.

I'm a fan of the designated hitter because I remember Dean Chance.

Damn, way to throw shade on that one!

You are correct, it was 14 minutes and he only blocked 6 pretty easy shots, as you said. You wouldn't want to be the jerk who demolished an amateur, especially knowing he could have been on your team. I suppose there is some honor to this, similar to chopping off someone's head after he dropped his sword.

Seems strange to say, but I miss both NYC and hanging out with John. Especially since I'm now in Orange County, LA-LA Land south.

I wish I could join you there, Zeno. I'm ready to flee again this New England. Planning another trip to NYC for next fall. My daughter and granddaughter want to see the Harry Potter exhibit at the New York Historical Society, and since she can't drag her husband screaming to it, I have been tagged.

JC,
That's what grandpas are for.

That and lying to the innocent about how spring is here. (More snow expected tonight)

Happy Easter, all.

April Fools.

Spring is just in time for Easter here.

Never gone out with one of those crazy cape cod chicks, but I just might sometime soon.

Oh good evening.

Instead of Easter dinner like we grew up with, my siblings and I go bowling every year as a newfound tradition of our generation. I won 2/3 games. /brag
