The excitement is palpable, is it not?

If everyone is wondering why there is a moment of silence, we all are getting out our cosplay uniforms before we sit back down at the computer.

Much more bothersome than robe and wizard hat.

For sure, finding the proper makeup and prosthetics is getting harder these days.

Wait wat?!

We're allowed to take off our cosplay uniforms?
05-29-2017 , 02:47 PM
I just got back home. Had to trade in my other getup for a Gorn suit.

If Minnie Mouse shows up here tomorrow, I'll regret that trade.

I must be used to Austin heat because I found the bay area freezing.

The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco.

Summer thread begins when it's no longer ****ing 48 degrees with more rain. Ugh. I will be in Chicago this week, staying at the Regis. That's Regis Hall. A dormitory at Loyola. Ugh!

Yes, another conference, but this one was mostly work. I did get to spend Saturday and Sunday in Chicago with an old friend from high school and college and enjoyed the city and Oak Park. We somehow crashed an oncology researchers party at a rooftop bar downtown, ate dinner, had drinks, and even got a gift bag when we left.

And off to Denver next week for another conference.

The reason the stereotype is hooded sweatshirts is because you have to wear a t-shirt and a hoodie 365 days a year - May, July, January, October, makes no difference. Every once in a while you're walking briskly and have to take the hoodie off. Simple as that.

I'm visiting Mississippi right now.

I find the whether a tad frigid... if that makes anyone feel any better.

Check out some civil war battlefields if you are near any and have the time.

Hey ramblin' boy, why don't you settle down?
Denver ain't your kind of town.
There ain't no gold and there ain't nobody like me.

Maybe I'll but that on the list.

Gotta love the red roads though.

Just saw a photo of U2 guitarist "The Edge". He's now a dead ringer for former child actor Danny Bonaduce! O the perverse tricks the aging process plays on us.
