how funny...i actually had this clip posted and previewed after the Purple Rain clip but didn't submit because i was afraid i was overly drunk posting in the thread (obviously that didn't stop me from making some of my other choices).

i also had this one queued up after the Dead Pool post and elected to not submit. Paint Your Wagon seems to be a very polarizing 'film'. adding musicals to the mix also kinda felt like cheating, but maybe i'll rethink that and overly drunk post this thread up yet again.

My ex wife hated Lee Marvin but loved Paint Your Wagon. I loved Lee Marvin but hated Paint Your Wagon. So I don't know if it was polarizing or homogenizing.

Of course, the original intent was to find scenes in which the actors sing rather than music on the soundtrack.
