Took a two-week trip up to Salt Lake and Jackson Hole last month (Feb 4th-16th). Stayed in Salt Lake the first weekend (5th-8th). Skied Park City, Brighton, Alta and Solitude in that order. Had been to all before except Solitude which I enjoyed. Especially the stuff surrounding the Summit lift. Though Alta has been my favorite, Brighton is really starting to grow on me. There's some great tree skiing and the terrain off Milly's is pretty fun. The best skiing of the trip was had the following weekend here, to the left off the Great Western lift, through the backcountry gate. But I digress. Got alil bit of snow while we were there, only a few inches though, but enough to keep things soft. On Monday most people who were there with me went home, but me and my buddy hit the road for the 4-5hr drive up to Jackson Hole. Drive went smooth, weather was good so no issues. Skied in Jackson Tuesday though Friday. Same deal with the snow. Got a few inches here and there, enough to keep things from getting to tracked out, but nothing crazy deep.
Jackson Hole!
Jackson Hole mountain is apparently huge!
Tram building
Big Red!
In the tram. It was packed.
Looking back at the base.
At the top of the world!
People hanging out at the edge of Corbet's Couloir. That's me in green pants.
What I was looking down at.
Cody Peak, No Name Peak and Rendezvous Peak, from right to left if my memory serves me right.
Tram cruising on by over my head.
Bridger Gondola
Time to go back to Utah.
So we ski Friday and then head back to Salt Lake. Get into town around 9pm and it started to snow lightly. I go to bed hoping I'd get to visit the white room the next day. I was not let down. Overnight and throughout the morning of that Saturday the region got hit hard. 6-10in in the city, 18-24in or so up in the mountains. We opt for Brighton, figuring it be less crowded over there. Best day of the trip. No pics because we didn't have time to stop
. Got one video in though of me skiing some powder. So light and fluffy. The feeling is truly indescribable to someone who doesn't know.

Sunday we hit Snowbird, snow is still awesome but somewhat tracked out by now. Monday on the way back to Vegas we stop at Brian's Head to get a couple of hours in. Most of the upper mountain was on windhold though so I mess around in the park for the most part. 11 days of skiing. 7 resorts. 2000 miles in the ol' Jeep. One great trip.
