This place needs kicking into gear!

It doesn't matter what it is, painting, photo, video, piece of **** on a stick, post it for all to see and maybe talk about how you did it or whatever.

My work is pretty crap but someone has to go first so here we go:

Startled Chameleon



I wanted to create a sort of cartoonish thing and this just popped into my head. It took the better part of a day to complete from start to finish but I probably spent most of the day procrastinating. I don't know why a chameleon would be at the movies but there he is.

Wall-E



I like Wall-E and I'd just bought some new markers so I thought I'd give them a test drive. I textured it in photoshop. It took about 2 hours, during most of which I was watching 'House of Wax'.

Do Rhinos go to heaven?



During lectures I get bored so I doodle. One time I closed my eyes and tried to draw a rhino, I thought it looked like it was flying so I added wings and decided to do this. It took a couple of hours in photoshop.

I want to work in animation when I finish uni so last summer I was dicking about in Maya and I did this, shortly after 'startled chameleon'. Don't try to understand it, just go with it.


Currently I'm working on a 3D still image project just when I've got free time, I'll share it when it's finished here, or maybe I'll make a thread about it.

last one. a bird from an exercise in 'drawing on the right side of the brain'. incredible book and one that for all of you who say you can't draw i would look at if you are interested in drawing. she says basically if you can write, you can draw. it is just learning a different way of thinking about it.
