+1 for the ending of Path of Glory
+1 for The Doors This Is The End (in Apocalypse Now) but i wouldve picked the fight scene at the end
+ "I've seen things you people wouldnt believe" always gives me the chills
+ the moment, in Come and See, when the two kids are running and the girl sees a pile of corpse but keeps running without telling the boy
The ones that stuck with me are mostly ones that I watched when I was younger-
The end of The Terminator, where the cyborg core just won't be killed and crawls around legless until finally gets crushed and red light in eyes slowly fade.
In the Goonies when the gimpy guy is shown and wants a Rocky Road bar.
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom when Mola Rom rips out the heart and sacrifices a follower into the lava pit......... Similarly in Conan the Barbarian when Thulsa Doom calls a follower off the cliff while explaining the riddle of steel.
When ET is really pink and sick and might die.
Most of Twilight Zone: The Movie and Creepshow. Scary when ur a kid!
And... Risky Business when Tom Cruises day dishes out some quintessential advice. "Sometimes you just gotta say, What the F*ck"
The entire plane crash scene from Flight. Beautifully shot and wonderfully acted, it's the most realistic feeling crash scene I've witnessed. Major props to Denzel. Line I will never forget is:
"Margaret! What's your sons name?"
"Say I love you Trevor"
"Black box...say I love you Trevor"
"(sobbing) I love you Trevor! Mommy loves you! You were a good voy!"
And the terror in co pilots voice with "Oh Lord! We just dropped to 8 thousand I see nothin but houses!"
One that always gets me is in Apollo 13 they are past the alloted time for blackout and no word from the astronauts. Everyone is expecting the worst when the radio crackles and you hear "Houston...this is Oddsesy"
Ed Harris' silently sitting in his chair tearing up is incredible imo.
