A nurse took the seriousness my illness in a causal manner. If Jean had been in charge she would have ripped her a new one to such an extent that a new name would have to be invented to describe the resulting oriface.

I don’t try to sanitise life, it is an awfully brutal business. I should probably sanitise my fingers, since I have just used them to remove a small amount of compacted feces from my rectum.

When in the presence of genius it is a good idea just to let them get on with it. Best example that I can think of is the producer who at the start of Wings rehearsal for “Jet” whose advice is simply “Get your guitars out and start playing “

Pigeons really are as hard as F. I remember one being stalked by a cat while she was eating a bit of bread off the ground and looking at the cat with an expression that clearly meant “Kindly stop interrupting me when I am trying to enjoy a snack “

Brother# 2 is not a very large person, at the age of 11 he had a small dispute with a much larger boy. Using his superior brain power he quickly realised that throwing a brick at him and breaking his arm would soon resolve the situation .

One of my friends tried to cheer me up by informing me that her aunt believes that you should stay inside when aircraft fly overhead because the are releasing a florescent fluid that will allow the government to identify your location. This did cheer me up, but I have also decided to stay indoors when a plane goes over, can’t be too careful

I used to work with a Rugby League player when it was only a semi professional sport so the guy’s had to do some proper work , I still remember being told “You will know that it’s Paul, he hasn’t got any ears left “

Also breaking down at the bottom of a hill, struggling to move the car out of the way of other traffic when a man pulled up behind us , gently pushed the car with his shoulder, causing it to move about 20 yards and then saying “I guess that you don’t play Rugby League”

The fecal impaction is still not improving. I believe that the attempted treatment has almost no chance of success.
I think that part of the problem is that the sign up rate of young medics for the “Treatment of hardened masses of ****” course is a bit lower than the “Norks and knobs” one.
