Jameson at 8 months. This is how we found him after he woke up from his nap. It's amazing how fast they go from being helpless little babies to their own people.

Amalia was born several hours later at 9:12 P.M. with a loud squeal and a mere 13 people in the room. Poinwife powered through many more hours of back labor and Alexander was born with a gurgle and a yell at 3:32 A.M, June 4th, making sure that we *both* won the bet, and granting each of them their own birthdays!

They're both more beautiful and more handsome than their parents already, weighing in at 6 lbs, 0 oz, 18.5 inches (her) and 7 lbs, 6 oz, 19.7 inches (him). They're doing exceedingly well, scoring 9/9 on their APGARS and nursing quite demandingly, giving us hope that maybe one of the Lerner Clan will achieve a greater than median height.

With much love,

Poincaraux, Poinwife, Evelyn, Amalia and Alexander Lerner

congrats. father of 4 month old twins here. twins are awesome.

There was a thread in OOT or NVG several years ago where someone was selling them on cafe press (I think people were wearing them to the WSOP). I clicked around a bit, but couldn't dig up the thread.

It'd be pretty easy to make via vistaprint or cafepress or whatever.

Just confirmed that mrscrashjr and I are expecting #3. Early calculations have due date at Feb. 29th.

We are a bit nervous, both my sister and sister-in-law have miscarried this year

Do odds of miscarriage go down when you've had previous children? Or is it still dependent more on other factors like age?

I think if you've had previous successful pregnancies that your odds of MC go down considerably, could be wrong though, just seems like it makes sense.

Obv ur more likely to MC when ur 35+

I think I read somewhere that like 75% of pregnancies end is miscarry, but most is in the first few weeks where there's noway to even know that you're pregnant.

Not much more til you are past the critical point. Once you hear that heartbeat it will be a huge relief.

People who tend to miscarry would usually have trouble before having 2 kids, so that's going for you. It's more that if something is messed up, it had a good chance of happening already.

Like if I'm worried that I didn't screw on my tires properly, and I drive 2 miles and my car is still running, chances are I'm good. I still could get a blowout or something odd. But it's not something fundamentally wrong. If there was something fundamentally wrong, chances are it would have happened by now.

I'm seeing midwives, so we're trying to go as natural and low-intervention as possible. Had an appointment today, 41 weeks and 1 day. Non-stress test which we passed with flying colors, blood pressure, etc. all good, no swelling. Little bit of cervix activity so we're waiting it out. I have to go for a biophysical profile (ultrasound) on Monday and then if he's still not here by Tuesday we do a last ditch effort with castor oil. If I make it to 42 weeks I have to transfer care to an OB and we start talking medical induction. I'm hoping we get a baby by Sunday.
