TY, She is a trooper. The doctors want to keep the anti-biotics flowing thru the IV for one more day. We should be taking her home tomorrow.

Close! 
Water broke at about 4:30 am Wednesday morning, so it was off to the hospital. My wife wasn't really have any contractions, or at least they weren't too bad to start with.
Got checked out, and she was still actually at 4 cm, so they worked to induce the labor a bit. Contractions started to kick in, so they got her the epidural she wanted. She certainly was happy she got it.
Only problem, when they checked her again around 11 am, the nurse thought the head didn't feel right. She had a doc come in to do an ultrasound, and sure enough - the little bugger was turned the wrong way! So all of this time, he was actually breach, our doctor just couldn't quite tell when she did the first exam a few weeks ago.
Well, that made the decision pretty easy - C-section. Baby was doing well in the womb, no stress really, so we waited our turn, and voila, he was born!
Owen Michael, 6 lbs 12 oz, 18 1/2 inches long! Baby and momma are doing well. He's got a bunch of curly hair, opens his eyes a lot, and right now is a good sleeper!
Excited to add him to this thread!

Sofia came home today after her six day ordeal, she is doing well.
You are brave posting the pic of your wife, mine would kill me. (they look tired and worn-out in those after-baby shots)

FWIW, I think wifey looks excellent for someone who just pushed ~7lbs thru her crotch... I'd prolly be passed out...

One Month Update:
Took Jordan in on Thurs. Weighed in at a whopping 13lb 2oz. Height wise, she is in the 97 percentile for that age. Weight and head measurements, she is off the charts. My wife and I are raising a future WNBA center apparently.
She is already killing me in formula bills. She was drinking 5-6oz bottles at 2 weeks old. Told me wife at this rate, she will look like a little sumo wrestler in another month or two.
Will try to post a newer picture later on sometime.

Im only 22 and jumping in the deep end but all I can think about is my child growing up and me being a great age to get up to all kinds of mischief with it.Mother lumpy watch out!

Henry is amazingness. Wasnt really sure how i'd feel about all the added responsibilities and what not but i've got used to pooy nappies and regurgitated milk instantly and I am relishing the responsibility that this all brings.
Of course we've been getting a fair amount of sleep by taking shifts which has been good but I got my first projectile vomit onto my lap this evening which was nice
But this kid is fantastic (obv
, and a great good luck charm too, all my teams are winning and i've started 4 tabling with him after my feeds and am running awesomely.
So stoked on this kid
Bring on the next 20 years!
