No we did IVF so most of our friends and family knew what was going on. It would have been almost impossible to wait through the first trimester to start telling people.

I was an extra in a movie a couple years ago (Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius - I do get good screen time) and have had to pass on a few other casting calls for work and what-not.

I got a call today from the casting office saying they want me to play the role of an Amish person in the remake of Revenge of the Nerds. I'd have to go Tuesday and then on November 16.

The original is one of my favorite movies ever. I assume the new one will suck, but still. I want to be in this. So, now I'm just hoping that the baby doesn't come by Tuesday. My wife said that it's ok to go on Nov. 16, even though we'll be struggling as new parents and all.

Man, that would suck if the baby came while I was on the set.

Baby will be our second after my avatar who is 29mos old.

No clue on names yet, we took forever to decide on the first one (Alyssa Kaytlin).

As for finding out, I really had to convince my wife on the first one to let us find out and told her we didn't have to on the second, but she has decided on her own that she wants to know this time. She claims that its so that Alyssa doesn't have to keep referring to her little brother or sister in Mommy's tummy.

Curious. Mine is due 4/17, and we're supposedly not finding out sex until December. Do I currently have a David Bowie?

Our visit isn't until mid/late Nov so its probably just a matter of scheduling the machine or Doctor preference.

While pics could actually be appreciated by those who read this thread (as opposed to the typical 15-year-old in OOT who thinks anyone over 90 pounds is fat), I don't really feel like plastering a pic of my wife all over the interwebs.

She is a cute preggo, though. And perhaps the happiest pregnant woman I've ever seen.

She visited the doc today. Looks like we'll probably have to be inducing labor next weekend. Fun times.

My wife is 38 weeks tomorrow (Friday). I am hoping we have the baby soon. I can't really concentrate on anything else right now.

Okay, my wife went to the doctor today, and she is 2 1/2 cm dilated and 80% effaced. Doctor thinks it will be within the next week. I am about to chew my desk apart.
