It's going to be a boy (#1 is a girl. me = expert inseminator). Nothing happening yet.

Congrats to all recent additions in this thread, and good luck to all still on the waiting list.

That's our boy. He arrived Friday 3/23. Everything went well. Our daughter was c-section, this one was not, so it was something new for us. Jesus what a horrifying process.

Dog and big sister are adjusting well.

Just an update... I had another ultrasound yesterday. The OB had a feeling that the baby may be big and wanted to take a look. I'm 28 weeks along and she estimates the baby to weigh 3 lbs 9 oz already.

My first boy was born at 9lbs 9oz. This one she says will be bigger.

Everybody seems to be posting pics, so I figured I'd post a few myself. Sorry for the quality. They're from my phone.

He was born on 1-11 at 2lbs, 9oz. Now he about 5lbs, home from the hospital, and doing great.

dcasper70 thought that 6 month updates would be cool and I agree.
Well Clive, mom, and dad are doing great. Mom took 3 months off to care for him and then grandma came down from Cleveland for the next month as we were still on daycare waiting lists.
Fatherhood has changed me quite a bit. A couple of things I've learned:
The first 6 weeks really does suck. Sleep-deprivation mostly. And the little guy isn't really interacting with you yet and doesn't have a personality yet so you're just caring for this little cute bag of squirm.

Related to this I've learned hangovers and baby don't mix. I can't believe how little I drink now.

While fatherhood has calmed me down quite a bit, I get more agitated by people doing things that I perceive could put my baby at risk (cutting me off, their dogs off leashes, etc.)
I actually am more focussed and efficient at work. I attribute this entirely to the boy.

Then, just when it seems you're going to go crazy, the little jerk starts smiling at you and nothing else matters. You start annoying people talking about the baby, shoving pictures in their faces, etc.

Now here he just had his 1/2 year bithday and every day is a joy. He's been in daycare for 2 months now and, while he had a few weeks of seemingly endless colds and stomach bugs (sooo many dirty diapers), he's healthy and happy and that makes mom and I the happiest people on the planet.

Mom and I are almost done shedding our pregnancy weight. (yeah, I really dropped the ball working out during her term and being constantly surrounded by cupcakes didn't help).

His daycare experience really opened my eyes. His daycare has several atypically developing babies and it really hits home to see how love overcomes anything.

Not quite ready for a six month update (the little girl is 5+ months now), but I just wanted to relate a good deal to the other new parents here.

On Friday, I purchased the following on eBay:

Baby Einstein 22 DVD box set + Baby's First Signs DVD
Baby Einstein wrist books
Baby Einstein touch and feel animal cards (something like that)

All that plus shipping was $118. That's < $5 per item, and those DVDs typically go for $15-$20, I believe.

The seller's eBay name is "ferfer" and she (I think it's a she) got them to me by Monday. Looks like she doesn't have the box set listed right now, but she told me she can get pretty much anything from Baby Einstein, so I can just e-mail her if I want something. I would assume that anyone could message her on eBay with an inquiry.

My wife is really excited about the baby signs DVD, while I am looking forward to a little "Neglecto-matic" to give myself 30 minutes to do some work, since I work at home. Yay daddy day care!
