Babies have their own schedule and are always changing the way they do things. Just when you think you have them figured out they change things up Lol

Nonsense, Fish. Ever since Amelia started labor and was born on the same day, her expected due date, I am expecting clockwork. ;p

#1 advice, don't let your baby sleep in your bed after 6 months even if it is very convienent they will be with you till they are 3.

Good advice, and we are way ahead of you. We are using a bassinet in our room now, and we have a pretty nice crib for her when she outgrows it. We plan on zero co-sleeping. For now at least, she sleeps really well on her own in the bassinet. She may have been a bit spoiled by grandparents around holding her much of the time, but they weren't around at night, and she did fine. I recognize that after 6 months is a whole different animal, though.

Our boy was in his crib till 8 mobths, then he would wake up screaming every 20 minutes, we put him in our bed because my wife was pregnant and super tired and it was just easier at the time, he stayed till he was 3. Our daughter wasn't going in our bed no matter what it took.

That's the only advice I can think of, most everything else you just play it by ear.hopefully you get a chill baby, both mine had pretty bad 0-9 month stages and that was a drag.

Make sure they burp, if possible no pacifier but that will just be what it is.

Congrats, once their personalities start to show it really is some good stuff.

Heh, my most recent picture of her also features the same ear protection, this time from her first Stanford game last Saturday.

We are earlier along in the process, by my count due Aprilish and not sure if it's really stuck at this point, but as we've seen from the Wookies ITT, it's an adventure no matter what.
