Absolutely gorgeous! This is why I have been lurking in this thread all these years, so many beautiful babies. Keep 'em coming, folks!

Wife still doing fine. We're go for launch on or about Aug. 20 still. He's kicking up a storm. She's kinda dreading the birthing process so I keep reminding her that I have a large head and feet (her head and feet are both tiny). I also happen to have thick, sharp toenails that most clippers can't even cut through without excessive force so I also joke that he'll probably be coming down the tunnel with sharp toenails. That's usually about the time she tells me to rub lotion on her or leave the room. haha

My wife said she can tell by the ultrasound pictures the baby looks like me.

The baby looks more like Predator than it does me at this point. lol.

I did it again. Welcome David Noel. Everyone is great, and Nina loves him, and seems to know he's fragile. It's too much.

They will provide a lovely hat for you at the hospital or birthing center, and it will not be defaced in the manner in which you suggest.

And thanks.

Congratulations!

Wife and I finished painting the boy's room last week and we're happy with it. Maybe I'll get a pic up in here. We still need to pick a name though. Got a little over 2 months left. He's kicking like crazy - especially at night. She says he also starts kicking more when I enter the room and talk, which is awesome of course. Also responded to some loud classical music. Or we're just making stuff up but anyway we're excited!

Yeah, it's exciting. The most amazingly helpless you will feel is right when they discharge you from the hospital and you'll be like "Wait, you're letting us take this little person to our house?! Is that SAFE?!"

But it's fine, it's fine.

Best of luck.

Don't worry Josh, even if it's not instantaneous when he's born. It will catch up to you. Keep us posted!

Right up until the hour before my first kid was born I didn't think it was actually going to happen or that the new phase of life was going to start.

Now it seems like it has always been like this.

Is this called denial stage?

My wife's due in early March with our 2nd. She had some relatively high Hcg levels so I have this sneaking suspicion its twins. Sweat until Monday when we go for 1st ultrasound.

Fwiw, what would you say the frequency of natural occurring twins is (no fertility stuff which increases odds)?

Guess before you peek.

Spoiler:
1 in 89. Seems lower than I would have expected.

I was hoping for twins the first time around. I then would have scheduled a vasectomy the day after they were born.

About 1 month left until lift-off for us. My baby moves a ****-ton in the womb, you can see it. So I pretty much already feel like he's here he's just hidden. He gets hiccups, too, which we can feel.

My wife's tits are unrecognizable. lol.

I wanted to give an update for Borodog. He's still needing to reset his password, but he asked me to let everyone know wife and baby are doing great. His wife had their second son on the 17th and will be heading home today.

But, I expected a sequined sleeper? (Enemy of the state but friend of the King.)

Congrats Boro family!

I don't know many twins. I personally only know 1 actually.

I would have guessed 1 in 200.
