Hi all, congrats on all the new ones and future new ones since I've been gone.

In other news, wifey and I are expecting our second son on or about July 21st.

Congrats!

We find out the sex of our baby on the 26th of this month. Due date Aug 20. Wife starting to show her bump now. A couple other bumps have gotten larger too, which is nice.

She wants a boy, I'm cool either way. I think.

Dude, don't emotionally hedge. I did that with my first, and it ended up being a girl.

The 2nd I was all-in with 55 UTG on the stone buddle with 11BBs while there were plenty of shorter stacks. I was playing to win. I wanted a boy.

I was rewarded with a boy.

Looking back I am happy to have one of each tho. I just got that nervous feeling during the whole 2nd pregnancy like I was gonna have nothing but girls my whole life.

Just found out today we're having a boy! Wow. Wife is stoked she really wanted one. Already thinking about a paintjob for his bedroom. Giggity. All other vitals looking great. He moves around a LOT in there.

C-section scheduled for next Wednesday. Baby girl on the way, no name selected. I suggested to my girlfriend that we put 10 names in a poll on 2 + 2 and let the Internet decide but the answer was no.

4 walls in his room obv. Is a golf/baseball/football/hockey theme too ambitious of a paint job? lol.

My boy's room had a damn chair moulding thing halfway up that we wanted to use as a separator between two shades of blue. It took me about 20 hours to mask/paint/remove mask/touch up with a day in the middle waiting for it to dry.

I'd say paint everything the same color and get some of those life-sized sticker things of famous athletes to save about 19 hours of work.

Fatheads? He's a baby, not 8. lol.

Though I think it will take me way more than 19 man hours to paint those 4 separate themes. haha. Might be fun though.

I'd go with this, but modify it and find some sports decals (not sure if that's the right term) to put up instead. My wife found a bunch of truck/car/vehicle ones on Amazon. Google is your friend.

First room I did for a nursery we were going to do it in muted pastels etc, but then I thought '**** it, let's make it look like Pee-Wee Herman's house' to stimulate the little guy, so I painted the walls canary yellow, the woodwork and skirting fire-engine red (and got red fitting for light switches etc), and anything else a dark green. And then stuck stickers of animals, rainbows, disney characters etc all over the walls.

It looked much better than you'd think.

Now the parenting question. How have parents of boys dealt with circumcision? What do i expect?

The woman to cry. The man to cringe and cross his legs awkwardly.

I like his name. Are you US or is that more of a cultural/Euro name?

Chubs! He's super cute. My best friend named her son Arlo.

As for circumcision, we didn't. Easy!

I am hispanic. We found the origin to be Spanish and Euro.

The circumcision went well, he did a lot better than anticipated. We actually both did better than anticipated.

Wife and I are expecting our first child. Expected due date is September 10th, 2012. (currently ~4.5 months pregnant).

Initially, we wanted to wait another 6 months to a year; but when we found out we were pregnant, we were not prepared as we wanted to be (we planned to travel alot this summer). Regardless, words cannot explain how excited we were (and are).

I want a boy really bad; but I know what I actually want is a healthy and happy baby. We're currently on a mini vacation ATM (posting from the airport!); when we get back we will be finding out the sex of the baby.

We've seen 3 ultra sounds so far; seems to be very active; always moving, and is the single most amazing thing I have ever seen in my life.

It's a very surreal experience.

I don't want to discuss potential names as of yet; at least not until we know the sex of the baby.
