As long as he was, 3-6 definitely sounds about right. Length seems to be the dominating factor for sizes. They make the sizes all smaller than they should just so people feel all impressed when their x month old is wearing x+3/6 months clothes.
We had a ton of clothes that never fit him. Hats were the worst, the biggest we could find was 6 months hats, and those were too small at birth. Eventually we just stopped giving him hats to wear (fortunately the winters are mild here).
We recently found out my wife is pregnant again, due on my birthday (4/14). My son will be 18 months then, so I figure that's a good enough gap. He's the only grandchild right now and will be for some time, so we need to make sure he doesn't get too spoiled. He already has become an expert at hamming it up to get attention from people, so this should do him good to get over being an only child before he's 2. Plus, I have to make sure my genes spread at least as fast as Greear's.
It's still super early so we aren't telling many people yet. She was feeling really sick initially, then hasn't felt very sick since and is a bit worried. We had a miscarriage 2 years ago, so there is always nerves for that. It still is a bit hard waiting until you can see a heartbeat and know that things are most likely OK. Most people don't even know they are pregnant this early, so miscarriage is a lot more common than people realize.

Here's the announcement video I put on youtube, and also in another lounge thread. Nobody understood it. Save one. But when you know that it's to announce that my wife is pregnant, it might be a little funnier.
Daughter will be 2 on December 1st. She's a great talker and already steals my ipad from me constantly. She loves going to my soccer games, and always talks about being a soccer player which makes me smile. She has hundreds of stuffed animals and won't go anywhere without taking as many as she can pick up which is a huge PITA. Crazy how fast they grow
I'm going back and reading every page in this thread, got to like page 16 last night before i fell asleep, started really late. Gonna start again here in a few.
