That always bothered me about Major League. They are a good team now and she's still mad. Makes no sense.

She should have been stoked to have been Billy Beane before Moneyball, finding all those cheap, flawed ballplayers and paying very little relative to the league per win.

Yeah I always laugh when the villain has some master plan that gets completely blown up, and yet they're still committed to, and *energetic* about, destroying the hero(s) anyway.

Like hey Gary Busey in Lethal Weapon, your drug operation is done, your kidnap attempt just got foiled, and you're probably going to jail for life now. Why are you so goddamn *happy* about having a bare knuckle brawl in the rain against Mel Gibson, with three dozen cops around watching? Do you think if you beat him and win the "title", they're gonna let you go?

love how in the matrix neo is this crazy underground hacker selling illegal programs for 2K a pop but when trinity hacks his computer n starts talking to him his only response is ctrl alt delete n hitting escape key a few times then looking throughly confused.

when he meets trinity he asks how she accessed his computer like she just travelled thru time.

Gremlins

Yes this is a great movie btw. What's the deal with the rules?

Can't eat after midnight? When can you feed them again in the morning, what if you change time zones, what if they have a piece of food stuck in their teeth and it get's dislodged and swallowed at 12:01AM?

Can't get them wet? OK, if it's raining outside that's obvious. But what if there is 80% humidity. Everything they eat has a large percentage of water in it, in fact they are probably made up of a bunch of water (as are all animals). It was winter with snow all over the ground and at no point did touching the snow make them multiply.

OK, I'll STFU and stop being a rules nit now.

Lol the rules to keeping and feeding Gremlins are supposed to be silly and not make much sense when you think about it for any length of time. That's the point. They will always turn into bad Gremlins.

The real plot hole is how they made an entire movie (2) yet nobody stopped to think "hey wait - gremlins aren't even a thing." Entire franchise negated.

Any movie with Phoebe Cates keeping her clothes on can't be considered great.

Saw this on some click bait site, and I suppose it is more accurately a plot hole in the books rather than just the movies, but...

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban

Fred and George have had the Marauder's Map for several years before Ron and Harry get to Hogwarts. By Prisoner, Ron and Harry have been there for two+ years. Why did Fred and George never notice that Peter Pettigrew (aka Scabbers, Ron's pet rat) was hanging out in the exact same location as Ron most of the time? Seems unlikely that they would never have used it to see what Ron and Harry were up to during their first two years given that ldo the plot revolves mostly around them.

Same could possibly be said of Chamber of Secrets, where they apparently never noticed that their sister was spending a lot of her time in said Chamber, though there is some debate on this point as "unknown" rooms like the Chamber and the Room of Requirement might not have shown up on the map, though this is never directly addressed afaik.

A question more than a plot hole I think about Edge Of Tomorrow......

Spoiler:
After Cruise kills the main creature and goes back to the previous day, does he tell the Col. on how to win the war or do they win it, and end it some other way? I know he gets off the helicopter but then I just remember him watching the news on how the war was won.

not quite a great movie but in varsity blues the final game winning trick play features an illegal forward pass.

dawson throws to his wr who's past the line of scrimmage and then he throws it down the field to the lineman (who I'm pretty sure is an receiver anyways) which obv is an illegal forward pass.

It was a "fumble". There might not be a fumbleruski rule in Texas HS football.

there is no way that was a fumble.
he quite clearly throws the ball with both hands (well more of a flinging motion) but zero chance that could ever be considered a fumble.

putting aside the fact it goes like 30+yds down field thru the air directly to billy bob, the motion of his arms as he flings it too him is not consistent with a fumble.

Wasn't it a backwards pass in a hook and lateral play?

is there a clip on YouTube that can be posted?
I'm on phone so cant post it but in the huddle billy bob says something to the effect of: "you really think the play where I run down field and pretend i don't know what I'm doing is going to work???"
