I've had time to reflect. This may be the first song I remember. Family legend says it is.

A friend and I both had entire Davy Crockett outfits but they looked completely different. I never could understand how he got such a "wrong" one

I used to watch The Wonderful World of Disney (maybe it was called the Walt Disney Show before that?) every Sunday just hoping that week's episode would be from Frontierland and that it would also be a Davy Crockett episode.

same here. my memory is fuzzy so i'm not sure which came first, but i had Fess Parker singing the Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone theme songs on my Fisher Price record player when i was in 1st or 2nd grade.

the earliest Disney movies i remember watching were Escape to Witch Mountain, variants on Herbie the Love Bug, and The Apple Dumpling Gang.

as for the oldest song i remember, i'll submit this album. really not sure why it sticks out but for some reason i can't forget the cover. not saying it's good (in fact it's horrible), it's just what i remember.

i also have strong memories of this one, which is just as bad

It was originally called Disneyland, but they changed it when they started building theme parks.

I remember that after they announced the show's subject, Tinkerbell (babe!) would tap the logo with her magic wand and it would turn into color! It was beautiful! We only had a black & white TV, but still, I could picture it...

Watching some of the reruns in color years later is kind of fun. When we used to watch Bonanza on a black and white TV we had no idea it was actually filmed in color.

alot of shows and movies were filmed in black and white. then along came ted turner and he had a process to make things into color. or at least he bought the rights to it. he turned many movies into color.

Bonanza actually was filmed in color. One of the first television series that were apparently.

This song is a chinese classic and has been covered and recovered in various styles and formats
over the years. I remember my mother and grandfather playing it over and over on vinyl when I was young.
I knew words to an adult chinese song long before I learned words to an American one.

The best anyone could explain to me is that its a love song
and the singer is asking in the title "can anyone tell me which way to wind is blowing?"

My all-time favorite song when I was 5-years old. I remember singing it in a karaoke and getting a dollar from my Daddy.
