I was thinking it might be time for a fun draft. I haven't ran one for a long time and figured this would be an educational way to learn about the world we live in.

Here are some categories I've been thinking of (open to suggestions).

Painting / Drawing / Etc

The defining aspect is that it sits on canvas. There are paintings that use **** and they are 3D, but since they are on a canvas, they are a "painting." Pen & Ink, pastels, etc are allowed.

Sculpture

Art is such an easy target that we need 20 categories to dent the surface, but I'm going to just do 2.

This is any 3D art and can't fit on a canvas. If an artist left a pile of **** on the floor and it's too heavy to carry as a canvas, then it fits this category. I feel sorry for the guys who has to transport this.

Writing / Author

Because there are some offensive pieces of writing.

Movie / Director

Because this is The Lounge. Even I can come up with a few of these.

Person or Group of People

While I definitely encourage racism and bigotry, be aware that these violate 2+2 policies and this is NOT a politics thread.

Piece of Music or Musician / Band

Yep.

Concept / Philosophy

It's pretty easy to pick on ****-for-brains. Have at it.

What do I mean by offensive?

I DON'T mean hate. That draft was done and it was fun, for sure, but this is different.

You can get a kick out of and even enjoy something that's offensive. You can be ambivalent, but admit that the object of offense is highly offensive because it just is. Some things are meant to be offensive.

If you would be the only person on earth who finds paper clips offensive... you are strange and no, the paper clip is not an offensive object. I don't care how many connections to Nazis you claim it has.

Out. I find the Irish very offense. But it would be very extra offensive for me to say so.

This can only mean that you are going to lay off of the French. I'm proud of you!

Someone I know who's originally from Chicago recently went to Ireland. He said that they'd be walking the other way and you'd get an "eh."

Said it reminded him of home. If you are from a Midwest city, you totally understand the novels of meaning in that simple utterance.
