5) Shakespeare in the Park - another must-do, the talent there is usually quite high both on-stage and off.
Later this month, I'm taking my gf down for a weekend in NYC (I'm originally from the city). On Friday night we have tickets to the Mets game. On Saturday night, I wanted to go to Shakespeare in the Park for
Romeo and Juliet, although I saw that unless one is a patron, tickets can only be had by waiting in line on the day of the show.
For those who've been, what is the typical length of wait? And what time would we begin lining up?
Thanks in advance for any responses, since I would like to know before we get to the city if it will be worth our while to plan on seeing the performance.
