For my 3rd round, I'm guessing someone here has to like Depeche Mode? I don't know, probably not, but here is Goldfrapp and Dave Gahan, the lead singer of DM doing a duet.
I was never that into Depeche Mode, and was only vaguely familiar with their music. In this song, Gahan delivers a powerful, larger than life performance. His delivery is as haunting as the video. Goldfrapp, is of course, the woman in the video, who offers wonderful support.
My picks:
You Suffer - Napalm Death
Mad as a Hatter - Larkin Poe
Ocean - Goldfrapp
We have gone through the many phases through most our lives with disco, rap and other various music but the late 1930's and early 1940's would have been a great time to have danced.
Paul Butterfield recorded several versions of this in the 60s, and many more later. This version, I believe, was recorded after he had started to cross over to blues-rock fusion audiences.
The guitarist you hear in the background is the great Mike Bloomfield.
Spoiler:
Here's a snippet of Butterfield and Bloomfield playing the song live at the festival that spawned Folk Rock (more on that later.)

The Glenn Miller Orchestra - In the Mood
Those horns and bass violin. Fantastic.
Love this one and am huge fan of Big Bands and especially Miller
Since the Big Band category has been opened with In the Mood I figured I would go with my all-time favorite Big Band song and what I consider to be the quintessential song of that style and era. As soon as Gene Krupa lays into that tom tom I can't help but start smiling. The first video is the standard version but I am also including a short version from a movie I believe that shows them playing. Watching Krupa just go apeshit on the drums at the end of this video always gives me tremendous joy.
so far: Doo Wah Diddy Diddy - Manfred Mann
Barracuda - Heart
Sing, Sing, Sing - Benny Goodman
It would help a lot if everyone filled out the spreadsheet. I took up voluntary secretary duties and filled it in, but it's easy to lose track of this.
We have all been there at one time. He is very much in love. He is suffering. He needs her back. The song features 3 different keyboards playing simultaneously.
