The day a woman plays a male character, JAMES BOND, is the day I stop seeing those movies.

I'm open to all kinds of possibilities for Bond, but gender-swapping isn't one of them. Just make a different character or better yet a completely different franchise if you're going that route. Old guy? Young guy? Black guy? Whatever.

I heard about the lady Thor which is just as stupid but I don't read those comics so it doesn't outrage me. I guess they need help with sales? But Bond is doing fine so no sense doing something stupid.

If you're going to get clever with recasting a woman maybe Dr. Who is a better target given the mechanics of that show.

It's hard to tell, because people who don't know much about Bond float these kind of ideas pretty often. Like the codename theory. It should go without saying that masculinity is a central part of Bond's identity.

Dunno about anyone else but i couldn't help being dissappointed when Felix was cast as an African American in Casino Royale with Craig.

I'm not racist at all but i don't think even a cast change this minor should happen. Dunno if i'm the only person with this opinion.

I think you need to go watch the last 4 movies Roger Moore made and check the women in there. They are pretty much the bottom third.
