Stay at a place called brazil hostel in lapa, thats the real rio. Its not hard to get to the beach from there, the people who work there are super cool, and there's street parties every night.

Another Q, if the forecast for Iguazu is "thunderstorm" how bad will that make the experience?

Re: Moving to Buenos Aires discussion

That sucks. I'm coming back down in a couple of weeks and that's where I used to watch on Sundays too. Where else is there to go? Sugar, Casabar, Alamo?

Geez, and where do you guys play beer pong on Tuesdays now?

Re: Moving to Buenos Aires discussion

last thanskgiving i went to Drink Gallery and they had an all you can eat Thanskgiving dinner for like 45 pesos that was quite impressive with NFL football by directv. i think this year Casabar is more likely than Alamo/Sugar to have a similar option it seems to me, but i'll have to check it out.

they have beer pong at Alamo on Tuesdays, i think. Not that I've done it bc I have an idiosyncratic distaste for the Alamo.

lol, I misread your previous post.

I guess a thunderstorm is pretty much the worst case scenario, because you will be forced to stay indoors. Basically it is a regular storm, but with lots of thunders and sometimes even without rain.

I'm doing just fine! But have been waking up around 3:30am. I'll try and make it for tomorrow though. I need to get my schedule fixed.

Now that the asado has been pushed back, anybody interested in doing dinner tomorrow night as usual? I would like to finally make it out to one.

I'm gonna sit dinner out today, so somebody else should choose a place if you want it to go down.
