Right, that's what I meant by the vouching thing, I'm not worried about finding people who will do that.

Mostly I want to know if there will be problems trying to pay bills without a local bank account, and I'm wondering if I'd actually save money once you include the cost of furnishing the apartment. I have no idea what prices are like for that stuff in Argentina.

Most of the short-term rentals have really crappy furniture -- or at least the cheaper ones do. I'd like to upgrade a bit without paying a fortune for a luxury rental.

btw, the expenses you refer to would be called Homeowners Association (HOA) fees, or condo fees.

I dont think youll have problems paying them without a local bank account.
And for sure you are going to save money,even if you have to buy all the furniture.Because the furnished appartmets that they rent,are extremly expensive as i guess you know.

Also to the 2+2ers i met on wed, we are heading out to mira sol tonight (will check back in with a time) then heading to living. Welcome to join for both, though dinner could be tricky since apparently the max table size is 12 and we have 11/12 already. But could always do two tables.

I said it was quieter as in less hustle bustle during the day.

a couple guys incl me, just post there and you'll pbb get a dinner going. Last year we had a lot of stuff going on (close to daily dinners, but tuesday 2+2 dinner day..all other dinners weren't posted that often and decided on the fly when we were hanging out) Also football but you need min 8, better 10 guys who wanna join and who will show up. Post all you want in the group and there'll be candidates for both activities!

I've never known of any carnaval celebrations in the city, but wouldn't be surprised if there was something. But would tonight or tom night be bigger, I know Tuesday is usually the climax in most of the world.
