From now on, we're going to Jobs. I refuse to revisit the scene of humiliation.

So just got back from "Niceto," I believe it was called.

They have two rooms, one of which is called 69. I was informed by people from a hostel, also confirmed by Imakefrush, that its the place to be on Thursday nights.

It did not disappoint. Walking in I was greeted by gay guys in tight leather and some drag queens. Was a little unsure what I got myself into. But once I got in I saw some rather sick break dancers followed by a stage performance. Reminded me a bit of Moulin Rouge opening scenes with flashy costumes and general chaos, one of my favorite movies, I know I'm gay.

Some smokin hot girls dancing in flashy costumes along with a huge, 300 lbs or so?, drag queen and a few gay guys going nuts. Really got the place hoppin.

I'd always thought British girls weren't into American guys, mostly because of our accent, I guess that's not true. Needless to say my sexy American accent had this British girl attempt more PDA's in a club than I have ever scene.

Best part was the look on the argentine's faces when they see bumpn' and grindn' done as its supposed to be. Hopefully some day they'll learn that dancing in circles and staring at each other is not they way to go.

And for all you British girl newbs, much like myself a few days ago, if a hottie asks you if you want to "snog" her, you most definitely do.

I am excited about this week's 2p2BADC. It is at Social Paraiso in Palermo Soho. I think maybe a couple of yall have been here before, but I have been wanting to go for a while. I've got everyone from last week down.

I've promised a few of you that I'd write up my favorite restaurants here. So I'll just post it here.

Green Bamboo -- Reggie, Gavin and I went there tonight. All of our dishes were amazing, as was the appetizer. Make sure you make reservations, as I think that's necessary most nights. If you go, make sure you get the dessert sampler, which had something like 7 desserts. Despite the fact that none of the desserts looked good on the menu, every single one was fantastic.

Aire Creacocina -- Until Green Bamboo tonight, by far the best the best desserts I've had in this city. And different. Chocolate and Mango Raviolis and also a white/black chocolate soup. Both amazing. The lomo is my favorite entree, but they're all pretty good. Ask for the carpaccio for appetizer (it's off the menu, but awesome), and tell Ana that I sent you.

Sudestada -- Any given lunch, you're probably 75% likely to find a 2p2er there. Probably my favorite lunch menu in the city. As John says, "It's the only place to find spicy food in the city."

unapalabra -- I've been to a fair amount of places in Las Canitas, and this is the only one that makes the list. They change their lunch menu every day too.

Olsen -- Make sure you make reservations, as you'll need them for any day of the week. Fish is good, especially as a change in this city.

Social Paraiso -- Well, we're going there this week so I'll keep this short. Great steak.

Montana Bistro -- First 2p2 Dining Club. Very impressive, interesting ambiance. It's in Caballito, so it's a good reason to get out of Recoleta/Palermo/Belgrano. If it hadn't been in Caballito, would've been more expensive.

Osaka -- I've only been there once, but it blew me away. The Hot Rock Ceviche was fantastic. I need to go back.

Bonus: best lunch steak was La Caballeriza in Las Canitas, but I generally don't eat (or find) full steaks for lunch.

Best sushi in Argentina imo. Also one of the most expensive but 100% worth it. The salmon/philadelphia fried on the outside roll is just a piece of heaven.

Also thought the sushi was great.

Would recommend the flaming octopus (I believe) appetizer. We saw a waiter delivering a flaming dish to a nearby table, ordered it blindly, did not regret.

Social Paraiso--Yes, great steak with excellent carmelization but listen to Evan when he says they overcook it! Order it rare and it'll come out medium.

I remember in Anthony Bourdain's show he said Argentines overcook meat. I think it's the national taste. We like meat well done

No reason to be a ****, just offering a good place to get a beer and see some people that speak English. And yes, I just registered on 2+2, therefore I have no idea how to play poker and probably don't even deserve to be in the same forum as you.

Just in case you weren't leveling us...

5 of us tried to come on Tuesday and were not allowed in at 3.20 ish because "you have had noise complaints and its closed."

We thought this was quite ridiculous as the only reason any neighbor could hear us talking was because we where not allowed inside... and there was 50 ppl in there drinking, obv not closed.

We told people at door that we are very quiet people who spend alot of money, but what more can you do.

Nah I'm not the guy who told you all you couldn't come in on Tuesday, I was working but I was most likely restocking and tryin to get home at that point..the website says were open 24 hrs a day but we aren't anymore, we close in between 3-4 so that's why whoever it was probably didn't let you in...and yeah people were real loud that night and Matt has been getting complaints about the noise so that's probably why whomever it was got pissed. As far as other places to eat, i heard "El Establo" is good, I haven't been there so I can't vouch..but i'd say it's worth a shot.
