Original BsAs thread 5 years ago was made here before the Travel forum existed. I guess nostalgia at this point, not sure.

Cheap "garage sale" : I'm leaving BA in a month and got a monitor for sale, and a one way ticket from Colonia to BA as a bonus (USD 40 value iirc).

1) 19" Monitor for $ 50

I already got it used from a friend for $100. I travel light, so there is no space for it.

For questions and details: Google "View Sonic VG1921wm"

Pic: http://www****d19.com/uploads/ViewSon...G1921wm(2).jpg

2) One-way ticket from Colonia to BA (Value USD 40):

in BQB Lineas Aereas; the "nice boat:

Colonia is a nice little town in Uruguay, especially if you're looking to renew your visum without making a big tour via airplane.

I can't promise the validity of the ticket 100%. But i am 90% sure it works (there's a name of a friend on it who bought it and its valid until Dec 2012). So treat it as a nice extra, don't rely on it.

Payment:

=> Send USD $50 to a charity of your choice and you don't have to pay me anything. Pls provide proof of the transaction though.

If you don't, i will use the money and buy a nice steak and think about you while eating

PM me if interested. We will exchange phone # and arrange a time for you to pick it up.

Senor Diablo wanted a new thread as the old one here in EDF had gotten unwieldy, so he asked me to make a new one in either Travel or EDF, and I figured we should just stay put.

Probably going to be in BA this week. Does anyone know where I can hit the gym at a reasonable cost per visit?

I'm thinking of living in BA for a couple months towards the end of the year, maybe between september-december...does anyone have a spare room(s) in a good location, or would anybody be interested in renting a nice apartment for that sort of amount of time?

There is also another 2p2'er I know who is interested in living in BA similar dates to me, August-November, and is looking for something similar.

I read the last couple pages and found bytargentina.com which looks great, but what area should we be looking at? Have spent a week in BA and stayed in palermo but I'm sure there's lots of great place to live

Ideally want accom to be as easy to set up as possible (which renting my own place wouldn't be) so I can spend more time exploring BA and improving my spanish etc. PM me if you can help/are interested, thanks

Palermo soho > Palermo Hollywood > las canitas > Recoleta imo.. There are more neighbourhoods that are an option but we pokerplayers like comfort and everyhting close range cuz we're lazy.

I'm looking to sublet my 1bd apartment in Las Canitas from June 4th till Sept. 24th. I have one 2+2er that wants it from August 1st, so if you are just interested for June and July let me know. It's in a prime location, quiet street, but 1 block to Baez and 1 block to L.M. Campos, where there are tons of transportation options. Big private patio with a parilla. Newer building, fully furnished, Sony flatscreen, great place. All-in $1200 US/mo, includes weekly maid, wifi (fibertel), etc..

Cheers,
Cory
