For phones, either acquire an unlocked phone before coming, or get something really cheap and crappy here.

Any of you have an Argentine address on your Full Tilt account, and know anything about withdrawing from it. I have friends in Europe who can withdraw without problems.

When I lived in BsAs I had a 3in1 thing from telecentro.com.ar. Cable TV, telephone and internet. Local calls to other landlines were either free or some ridiculous amount of free minutes were included. Internet was available at 3 to 15 mbit without any limits on usage. I can't actually remember what it cost, but it was nowhere near 150USD/month, but more like 150ARS/month for one of the faster connections.
Find someone who speaks spanish and have them talk to telecentro would be my plan.

yeah, that's what I'm offering but I don't trust them to deliver me good service so I'd rather find the company myself that offers a high bandwidth. I really doubt they'd be like, oh ok, let me find you the best deal and bandwidth package that comes with it D:

GF is working here for 5 mos, her company hooked us up with a furnished apt. Still getting used to the private elevators, door-men and cleaning ladies every day (had to tell her only need it M,W,F).... So weird.
