What area of town is Costanera Norte in? I've been googling but haven't been able to find out. If we live in Palermo, will it be close?

Also, the clubs that are 21+...can you bribe the doormen to get in?

Palermo is better for nightlife. I live in Recoleta and its totally fine. Living in Palermo would put me closer to places but it hardly matters. Taxis and subways are very cheap.

If you found a place you liked better in Recoleta than anything else in Palermo, live in Recoleta. If not then Palermo. Belgrano would be fine too.

i'd be shocked if a doorman ever asked for id. this is latin america, folks are going to generally be fairly relaxed about laws.

costanera norte is the coast next to the airport. basically it goes palermo, airport, coast.

Yeah, I kind of assumed that the drinking age itself would be fairly unenforced, but I assumed if a club is 21+ its because they want to draw an older crowd. So you think I'd be fine getting into the 21+ clubs?(18 yr old canadian, not dressed like a slob).

Also, I just started learning spanish with Pimsleur, but I'm confused about the differences between regular spanish and argentine spanish? Should I still do Pimsleur and my language classes while in BsAs will sort out the differences? Or should I just not learn until I go there?

learning regular spanish would still be very useful, it's not a complete different language

Yeah we talked briefly. If I'm being honest I didn't agree with your play at all but you got very lucky imo. And also it worked, so maybe I'm wrong heh. That swiss dude was not getting involved very lightly, but no matter how dodgy I think your play was, his fold was possibly the worst fold I have ever seen in the history of poker. I wouldn't even fold if the dealer accidentally mucked my hand there. Unreal.

Ok sorry I thought you were. About your hand I agree you probably had the loosest image at the table therefore folding top pair is pretty tough..
