Place is new, doesn't have many reviews, I have a feeling it could be great or suck. 9pm. I'm not going to wait around forever to order, so be at least sorta on time.

Okay so I have to get the **** out of France for my last year as a poker pro and I would love to live in BsAs. I spent a week there for the LAPT mar del plata and I loved the country.
questions :
about the apartment : as a poker player, I can't justify of how much I make a month. What can I do ? I guess I'm gonna have to pay for the next x month ? x = ?
about the visa : I believe I'm gonna have to leave the country to get a new VISA every 90 days, right ?
about the cash : I remember their ATM sucks and I was limited to 300 pesos a day, how do you guys do ?
about girls : in mar del plata, it seemed girls were hot and friendly but they just did not want to look like a slut. Am I right ?
How does one order a black coffee here? When I say cafe negro they bring me a little shot of espresso. In Colombia you said 'tinto' but I'm pretty sure they will bring a glass of red wine if I said that.

I always get mine 'con leche' so I'm assuming you could just say 'cafe sin leche' and you'd get it black
any gym recommendations in the palermo area by las heras y scalabrini ortiz? anything w/ in 20 min walk or so is cool.
also, has there been any changes in the whole "test de aptitud fisica para la practica deportiva" deal? last time i was here the first gym i belonged to it was 5 min physical by a trainer there at the gym and not needed at the second place. this time the one place sent me to a clinic where i needed a physical + come back the next day for an ecg + come back again for a cardiologist visit. i'm blonde and don't speak spanish well so don't know if **** has actually changed or ppl are just making **** up for some extra plata (especially when megatlon alto palermo is trying to charge 440peso a month LOL).
Really good for weights. The staff speak english and signing up was a breeze, even the stupud 'see a doctor' rule was easy. It might be a little far from you though.
Edit: Ah, you're willing to walk 20 min, thats probably about how far it is.
Cafe americano won´t do it, the only thing they will get out of that is that you want bad, watered cofee, McDonlads style.
Just say "un cafe por favor" and decline when they ask you if you want it "cortado" (this is with a tiny amount of milk), but most of the time you will get an espresso, beacuse that´s what we like to drink here.

Actually, I´m going to retract myslef. I think that "cafe americano" is what you are looking for. I think about bad, MD style cofee just bcz I like espresso... The only thing is that I don´t know how often they will have what you are asking for, but I´d give it a try.
Yea your last post probably says it best. Café americano is just a mix of espresso+water. Although i think that's really bad, people like it. For example here in Belgium most people drink their coffee like that. When i went with my parents to Spain, café americano gave them exactly that..
Its pretty simple. You want DRIP coffee, but 95% of cafes and restaurants only offer espresso coffee. So unless the venue has a drip coffee machine, you can call it by whatever name you want, but you won't get it.
I would suggest going to somewhere like McDonalds (even though the McCafe's might only have espresso) or go somewhere where they offer French Presses. You can buy a French Press at Jumbo or any cookware store. I think an actual filter drip coffee machine would be quite the novelty in BA.
