Was hoping the alien chick would get naked. Dat ass.

Should be his darkest film to date. I curled into a ball after I read that book. Macon Blair (Saulnier's best friend) is writing the screenplay.

Green Room. One word: intense. What a taut film. Very realistic violence too, which I always respect. Would watch again.

Drunkern? Not much hope in a 12-rated movie.

I was expecting Hardcore Henry to get more love ITT It was by far the most fun I've had at the theater this year, probably the past couple years. I was grinning from ear to ear the entire film.

I really wish this was a parody...

Eagerly awaiting Ben Hur 7: Ben Hurrier

Rockabilly Zombie Weekend The title says it all. There's rockabilly and zombies. What more could you want?

Spoiler:
Maybe a slightly better zombie movie?

one of my fav films, and certainly near the top of best films in recent years.

Man this movie is amazing have watched it three times already, Tom Hardy is exceptional! can't really say enough about it Jame Gandolfini kinda plays Tony Soprano and s I don't think he shines as much but He is perfect for the Character and if you had not seen the Sopranos I can't imagine how good this would be.

There is one scene that blows me away when Bob is explaining about his Cousin in the bar, you know the scene I think its Natalia's reaction and Hardy is amazing, he is amazing all through the film but that one scene is one of the best pieces of acting I have ever seen

I don't have much else to say but its def in my top 10 films of the last 5 years

9.5/10

Thanks so much for the recommendation Riverboatking

I enjoyed The Drop, but it didn't blow me away. May have to rewatch.

Divorce Corp. It is truly terrifying how screwed up/corrupt the system is. So glad my ex and I handled things sans lawyers. What a joke. Must watch.

Just watched all 3 Bourne movies again in preparation for Jason Bourne. Love the series.

At a loss for the name of a movie I saw maybe 5 years ago. All I remember is a few guys in a winter mountain scene. There are trees. There is a cabin. They may be chasing each other or a third party is chasing them. There was something about pills. I thought it may have been in Bourne Ultimatum as part of his training of how he became an agent, but it wasn't. At a loss for what this movie was. Anyone?

That's the Bourne movie that came out in 2012. But it had Jeremy Renner as Bourne, instead of Matt Damon.
07-26-2016 , 03:27 PM
ah ok, thanks. makes sense now.
07-26-2016 , 05:50 PM
Bourne Legacy is the name.

Watched Green Room because of this thread. Super tense, I liked it a lot.

I thought drive and the drop were both fine movies but not goat or anything close to that level. Don't really get all the love.
07-26-2016 , 10:51 PM
Yea, I thought the drop was fine, no desire to watch again though.
07-27-2016 , 03:10 AM
Jeremy Renner didn't play Bourne, he played another agent at the same time the Bourne stuff was going down.

Fine+ is how I would describe The Drop as well, yet it does have some intense/memorable scenes though, some dialogues a la Tarantino... I didn't get much out of the second viewing though, and feel it doesn't warrant one...
