This would have been the easiest short ever.
Holy ****, they were at $8k on Oct 11, 2017. That is some fall in <1 year.

They did a 250-1 reverse split in July.

I saw that but I am not really sure what that means. It would have been great for a short position tho, right?

definitely. The problem with shorting it was finding the shares to short.

Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door

Spike, Jet, Faye-Faye, Ed, Ein Sama: check.

Seatbelts! Smokin' Luckies!

Ein Sama: Shogi master.

Man needs: Protein.

Bean that you can't see: In the Moroccan Quarter.

2070's Mars: Drive-in movies.

But tough girls are: My type.

Broom Fu, Fire Extinguisher Fu, Monorail Fu: check.

I found him! Trick or Treat: Press My reset button.

Swordfish race playing rat: Macy's Parade on Halloween.

It's not a love story unless: Everyone dies.

I'll never understand why I think such dark emotional idealism is an elevated art form. Is there any other kind? No strings left un-pulled. Limited theatrical release. Check it out.

Butterflies are:

Spoiler:

Free!

I'll check it out; Cowboy Bebop needs exploration.

Some comments on your comments:

Seatbelts are for pussies - Lucky Strikes are not.

I wish drive in movies would make a comeback on Earth.

Gun fu?

Animated breasts fu?

Bebop Jazz fu?

I want to visit Morocco before I expire.

Tough girls are my type.

A Quiet Place It was fun and suspenseful for sure. I had to constantly remind myself to suspend logic, though.

Some nitpicking points.

Spoiler:
Seemed like not a whole lot of aliens. Not enough to eat billions of people. If there were, it would seem that they would be all over the place like roaches.

Spoiler:
If sound at a certain frequency really was their weak spot, wouldn't some military or scientist or something already figure that out? Seems too easy.

Spoiler:
Why didn't this family build a soundproof bunker? They had years to do it.

I really need to stop doing this when I watch these sort of movies.

The Seatbelts would agree with this on many levels.

My brand in my younger days when I relentlessly pursued self destruction.

For anybody who wants to give this a look, I prefer the subtitled version. The version dubbed in English is a little too emo for me.

The Breadwinner

In 2001, Afghanistan is under the control of the Taliban. When her father is captured, a determined young girl disguises herself as a boy in order to provide for her family.

A good but not amazing animated movie about surviving in Taliban controlled Afghanistan. Something not surprising is that when the most fanatical and brutal elements of society take hold, the weak in society suffer.

Wind River

A veteran hunter helps an FBI agent investigate the murder of a young woman on a Wyoming Native American reservation.

A bit of True Detective where a lawman goes into the lawless wilderness to solve a mystery, but in this case it's an Indian reservation. Everyone does their part well with Elizabeth Olsen and JJeremy Renner as the standouts. A good movie to watch if there's nothing else to watch

Hell or High Water 2016

Very good bank heist movie. Felt very realistic and had top notch tension. Great cast who fit their roles perfectly. It feels like it belongs in a double disk with No Country for Old Men.

And the T-Bone Waitress from HOH was in NC also as the motel clerk. I loved her role in both.

Heh, I just watched this for the first time a week or two ago. Not quite up there with must-see animes like Ghost in the Shell or Akira, but still a quality watch if you want a sci-fi anime. Soundtrack is A+

Crazy Rich Asians

I enjoyed this quite a bit. The story was great even though it followed the typical rom-com formula. It has a big cast with a lot of great characters. 8/10.

The Negotiator (Beirut): Nothing to do with the Sam L Jackson/Kevin Spacey movie. This is John Hamm and Rosamund Pike in the 80s trying to negotiate the release of an American agent in Beirut who has been kidnapped. Lots of intrigue involving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, loads of hidden agendas and the prospect of all out war. Decent thriller but nothing too special.

Biggest problem was the mumbled dialogue which seems to be en vogue these days; I had to turn the volume quite high up just to make sense of what they were saying. If movies/TV are going to do this, they need to get the sound levels right.

I don't think sound levels will help, mumbling is mumbling no matter the volume. The only thing that will help is subtitles.

Saw The Meg and enjoyed it. Typical giant shark movie and enjoyable summertime popcorn entertainment. Predictable but fun enough way to spend 2 hours.

Stay Hungry...

Despite the cartoonish villains, this is a good little heart filled movie about a newly orphaned silver spoon young man caught up with some bad people that are trying to take over a local gym.

I loved seeing the period lifestyle of the mid 1970's and the movies action flowed in a very natural and familiar fashion.

The Meg Fun popcorn shark movie ,nothing groundbreaking, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves in the theater.

Crazy Rich Asians above average rom-com, I really liked it and laughed a lot, thought it was weakest when it tried to get too goofy/ slapstick for laughs, and while it was mostly a cliche rom-com it was elevated by some of the subject matter and the cast.

Just watched Stories We Tell for the first time.

I thought it was great, just really human. I thought the end was really emotional. I couldn’t stop thinking about how we are all just flawed humans trying to figure out this thing called life, in our own little ways with our own faults, our own ways of overcompensating, trying to overcome whatever baggage we carry from our childhood, and succeeding to some degree....or failing, and life just goes on. We are all (mostly) just doing our best.

I felt that it was simply a raw and honest look at a story of a woman and the lives around her, which could be (and was) interpreted in a variety of different ways. There were some startlingly touching moments watching people talk about things that had happened in their lives. I’d recommend it to anyone.

91/100

Just rewatched the GOAT action series again (The Bourne Identity, Supremacy, and Ultimatum). What's the consensus here on Jason Bourne? Have not seen it, wondering if I should. I think I remember RBK panning it.....
