This thread has inspired me to get some new sheets/bedding.
A few questions:
- Thoughts on egyptian cotton vs. pima cotton vs. bamboo sheets? It sounds like the supapima cotton is almost identical to egyptian, but a little cheaper because it's grown in the US. Bamboo sounds like a decent option as well.
- Any preference on brand name? I don't have time to go feel them all. Target has sheets as cheap as $50, while other places can reach $200.
Here are a few options I'm looking at: (queen sizes)
(1) Costco - Kirkland 600tc supima sheets - $75

This might be a good deal
(2) Bed Bath & Beyond - 230tc Bamboo Sheets, 100% bamboo

(3) Target - Bamboo Sheet Set - 250tc, 40% bamboo, 60% cotton - $50

These seem like they might be on the cheaper side since they are mostly cotton, and user reviews show some pilling.
Any other good ones I should look at that are < $100?
Things I prefer:
- sheets should remain very 'cool' in the summer. however, silky sheets might be a bit overboard
- definitely don't want the flannel type feel
