I have a Beautyrest and the exact same thing has happened to me. And I do have a lot of sexy time and usually sleep with a GF right next to me. IMO the viscofoam (tempur) feels really weird for sex or cuddling, but I guess if you're a balla like GP you could get a separate sex bed and sleep bed.
I was pissed that my Beautyrest was drooping at 4 years old, so I went mattress shopping a while ago, and one of the mattress guys was like "what bed do you have now?" and I told them about it and they were like "oh, I'm surprised it's drooping, that's better than anything we have"
I would never get a pillowtop that's built in. They feel great at first but pillowtops wear our really fast and get dents or lumps. Better to just get a regular mattress and if you want it get a viscofoam topper.
Also of all the beds I tried, the latex felt best and is supposed to be really durable.
