Everybody on the forum has told him this multiple times, but he is perfectly happy with his state of denial.

I don't care if everyone on Earth tells me. You (and they) are wrong.

My Friday night "date," and again I put the word "date" in quotation marks, told me it's okay to actually text her first (I never do). She's another friend, and that's as far as it goes, although my secretary would love to see us together.

Really, guys, if either were available, I'd be interested, but they're not, so I'm not.

I'm thinking of a career change. I may give up my lucrative Poker Coaching and Life Coaching practice and become a dating coach. I'll start my clients of with a careful reading of Epictetus. They'll soon realize that availability means nothing. I'll be rich!

rich helps.

I could ruin your career.

From Mrs Merton show, she asked his wife “So what first attracted you to multi millionaire Paul Daniels “

Career Change?!! Now that is Rich. Phat Mack’s one and only career is avoiding all careers. Now I, on the other hand, have actually had Five careers; Six if you count retirement as a career. Something only a genius can accomplish.

Yes, Genius, with a capital G.

I've had one career but a number of jobs. I've been in two unions. And I make no claim to genius.

I’ve been in two unions also. Even went on strike once, with a small s. I ran away and got another job. Genius.

You should make a claim to Genius, John, it keeps others on their toes and at arm’s length.

Zeno, I seem to keep others at arm's length without even trying. Or some others.

I might claim to have risen above mediocrity, but I'm not sure about that either.

Captain Duckling isn’t very clued up on these systems and won’t be able to respond to technical queries.

When asked at Customs if he had anything to declare, Oscar Wilde replied, "I have nothing to declare but my genius."

Zeno had competition.

genius is synonymous with crazy

I really need to stop drinking, when I fail again I tell B2 I’ve “Oscared” again
“I can resist anything except temptation “

If you felted him, what chips did he have left to throw at you? Did he rebuy and then throw his chips at you? That would be really premeditated.

he lost the hands and the chips were not in the middle of the table yet, obviously

I play Words With Friends with only one person now. I've played "sex" each of the last three games and "coitus" once. I think the quarantine is beginning to get to me.
07-10-2020 , 01:56 PM
you do know that the quarantine doesnt mean you cant leave the house. there is still a big world out there and less people in it polluting things.

I have left the house a few times. Usually to see my daughter and family. Spent last weekend in Newport at a friend's house; they were away. And played golf once. Other than that, I'm pretty much a hermit.

And things are good here.

It is Friday and the quicker you realize you ain't going to live forever no matter what you do or don't do or dredd - You need to get out the door and cause some trouble. Life is too short. And risk is inherent in everything. Even drinking a glass of milk (think Hitchcock movie).
