Sounds like this:

Gawd oh Gawd that's horrible. You just added one more reason Lastcard, to the pile I already have, of why I hate the ****ing Irish.

It stopped raining and the sun actually poked out from the clouds today. Little green buds and leaves are showing on the trees and brush and idiot birds are singing their stupid chirpy songs and the moles are chewing up the yard. Full Blown Springtime. Ain't it grand.

I used to have an autographed copy of this album.

I always got Eddy Arnold and Eddie Albert mixed up. Funny thing, Eddie Albert Jr. (also an actor, went by Edward at first) looked more like Arnold than he did his dad!

thanks mack good song.

first time was burl ives that i ever heard it. i was a little kid. he might have been the first big time singer to sing it or put it on a record. in the 1940's. many also have later on and its world renown and a great song.

zeno would hate it of course, not because he hates everything except pics of himself but because this song came from an old irish one and he hates the irish more as we know.
i think its red hair and freckles that bothers him.

i got to thank mack and reminisce

I have a similar problem. I don't drink alone either. Fewer people like me these days.

And I know movies and songs. A little.

I've been teaching. And on my usual Tuesday off, I did some work. Mondays I teach and then go out after class to dinner with one of my students, who also happens to be my administrative assistant and friend. Wednesdays I take my daughter and granddaughter out to dinner. Teach Thursday until 6:30. Then I have Friday off. So from Friday-Sunday, I sit home alone and stare at the walls. After Tiger got eliminated from the match-play tourney last week, John and he met at Perkins for a cup of joe, and Tiger ordered some pie that wasn't on the menu.
