Both were in three episodes. You're probably referring to Sleight of Hand and Double Exposure.

I don’t know how widespread its use is, but in Northern England “Lush” is used by young people to refer to those you find attractive.
“That Jake from Form 4, proper lush he is “

What's a form? What's an improper lush?

A form is a class at school. An improper lush is an ugly ****

I haven't heard "lush" used in a long time, but my memory says that word referred to a ditzy girl.

Not really an insult per se, just a highly specific term that you wouldn't use to describe all women who are ditzes. This term was also only used by women to describe women, so it's likely more subtle than I could describe. It was probably a term of endearment.

The 90s, I think?

Online teaching for the rest of the year. Don't tell anybody, but I think if they simply do the work, they will all pass, probably with A's.

But I'm not convinced most of them will do the work.

It's also a store that sells fragrances, soaps, and stuff. All I ever think of though is this:

To me a lush is someone who drinks a lot. The character Dean Martin played on his variety show was a lush-- never falling down drunk, never passed out, but perpetually tipsy.

Thinking about it, I should not have decided to develop extreme depression just before the start of the current shitstorm

If you ever go to Cornwall you will find that women will call you “My Lovely” This is one of the best things that will happen in your life.

The strange case of Elizabeth and Bernadette
I first became aware of Elizabeth when we were on a bus in 1981 that had gotten stuck in the snow. She occupied her time by singing and giggling to herself.

Her husband was killed in a freak drunken bicycle accident.
Bern was immensely supportive of her friend
They went on holiday to Barcelona and had an argument, to this day no one else knows what it was about.
Since then they have never spoken.

I've titled my first ballad as "The Bird Song".

i side with bernadette anyone that sings and giggles to themselves needs something other than friendship. like a mental evaluation.
and riding buses leaves a persons credibility factor behind. perhaps the three of you should chip in on some group therapy and save some expense.
and stay ten feet away from people if you dont want to get possibly deathly sick.

You have either got it or you ain’t
Porn directors will spend an entire day with people performing implausible acts in order to cause a erotic response.
Agnetha Fältskog can provoke a much stronger response by gently biting her lip.
She has also been known to lick her lips, this is unfair on everyone else.

i find unintentional plagiarism fascinating in art. it's a real dichotomy, both forced (expected), and dispiriting. but if you steal from a great artist it should feel pretty good.

Very true, well put. I just read a thing Pete Townshend said about how he stole I Can't Explain from the Kinks as an 18 year old kid. "It can't be beat for straightforward Kink copying. There is little to say about how I wrote this. It came out of the top of my head when I was 18 and a half."

Tuma, I believe the best of your posts approach the level of art. I often feel like stealing this or that, even just a tone-feel thing. Not even kidding!
