Ukridge, more later. In a different thread.

Sober people are the real problems of the world.

The name Donn Clendenon sounds like a bottle of $500 champagne.

I met Don Clendenon once and got an autographed photo

I am what is sometimes called an “Early Adopter “ I have regarded printers with a mixture of fear and disgust for over 30 years

As most people here are aware I am extremely fond of the works of Catherine Bush. I am currently watching an episode of Quincy featuring overworked militant nurses. I feel that I have come to a deeper understanding of the song “Moments of pleasure “

So you think that you have made an embarrassing post on social media?

Sorry for embarrassment but what can you expect when you go round being so beautiful and having a kind and charming mind. If it helps my Sister in law Dianne makes you look like a pile of **** . Chrissy then turns up and says “Shut up bitches I am in charge of beauty and kindness “ Hope this helps

Why Coronation street is the best soap opera ever.
“Men have only ever have one thing on their minds” “ Half of the time they don’t even have that on their minds“

Conversation from Coronation Street
“I will get out of the way if you wish to bring young women around here”
“I would do the same for you “
“Why do you think that I would wish to bring young women around here at my age?”
“Sorry I meant old women“

Do you put the cheese and bacon in the oatcakes or on the oatcakes?

I'm not feeling like doing much of anything, a situation I expect to persist for some time.

John I have some work for you to do. I have had to watch my wife die in agony. When I try to relieve the stress by gently taking the mick out of certain overly nasal folk singers some posters respond by being extremely aggressive. You need to either cut down their posting privileges or hunt them down and kill both them and their extended families.

I need names.

I need names
Presume this is a misspelling of extremely sharp knives.
This time has given all of us space to consider what we are versus what we thought we are.
I have always thought of myself as a kind and timid person. If I honestly look back the dominant theme of my life is me being viciously unpleasant to people who deserve it.
I have never been unpleasant to any person who doesn’t deserve it

I suppose when I take the time to consider (and Lord knows, I've had plenty of time) what I am, I can only conclude I've been and am lucky. Lucky in my career, lucky with family and friends, and lucky to have made it this far.

But I'm also half Irish and half English, so, despite being lucky, I've also been imbued with a sense of melancholy--and a sense of humor, I hope.

The connection between music created by black Americans and white English people from the northern part of a small island is ridiculous until Johnny Marr explains the importance of desperation and a poetic belief in the power of popular culture. Why this feeling is particularly strong in the Anglo-Irish is an exercise that is left open for for the students to complete for themselves.

Wait. There's a connection between American Black music and the Smiths?
05-27-2020 , 12:10 PM
Of course there is. It may go through several stages but scientists have proved this theory to be correct. The following is an example of the tenuous but compelling evidence that they used.

Well how does he dance?"
""Close..............very, very close."
