Hope everyone had or is having a Merry Christmas! Just got home after a long day of family activity and gonna settle down for a few drinks and finish off my week plus Christmas movie marathon with Bad Santa and Diehard.

I'm starting New years Eve tonight to both avoid the rush and so I can redo it again tomorrow. For me NYE is a time for solitude. I have been to about a dozen Christmas parties/gatherings in the past few weeks and its time for "alone" time. On a typical NYE I drink a few cocktails, eat some really bad for me food and watch a couple of classic movies while contemplating what will be next? I rarely make to 10 pm. So far the 2020's have sucked it pretty hard 2023 has to be at least a little better right? We'll see? Not exactly the roaring 20's that came after the Spanish Flu quite yet but I have faith!

Only thing better than New Years Eve is New Years weekend!

GL, mrb. Similar for me, I'll typically pour a small taste of cognac, reflect on the year that was, and think about goals for the year to come.
