Time for Johhny Miller to retire. He adds little.

Should have bet more than $20
$20 worth of sweat entertainment at least

Also a reminder of why West Coast living is the best for us olds. Sports viewing in the morning >>> late night

Pretty early on East coast too for this one. For some reason, it seems really strange watching a baseball game in the late afternoon on the West coast.

I love typos: "Francesco Molinari Wins Theo Open."

Theo is proud.

Only been bad since this Sunday, when the north wind stop blowing. Previously, It had kept all the smoke south of my location.

Just rain, no floods. High humidity all week, but since I'm not really doing much of anything, it's no problem. Looking forward to hitting the West Coast in a couple weeks.

Just watched PBS American Masters about Ted Williams. I've probably told this before. He was doing a speaking engagement at a American Legion in Bridgewater, MA on a night of pouring rain. My father-in-law was bringing his brother who had MS and was confined to a wheelchair. My father-in-law asked Ted if he could wait a few minutes before he began speaking so they could get his brother inside.

Ted said, "Goddammit! If someone wants to hear me, let's get him in here."

So Ted Williams and my father-in-law went out in the pouring rain, slopped in the mud, and carried the brother in his wheelchair inside.

bryce at least the people in kansas have air conditioners. those on the west coast inland dont and when it hits the 90's they storm the coast by the line of cars full. the west coast northern beaches stay in the high 60's usually all summer.

Last time I was in San Francisco it hit 100 the three days I was there. I was staying in Mill Valley, and my cousin told me to grab one of her husband's jackets because San Francisco is cool. It was 102. I didn't need the jacket.

We had an air conditioning crisis at my apartment last week. The way
It works here is it only actually cools your apartment 20-30 degrees tops so when it was 110 degrees it was 90. 100 it’s 80 at lowest etc. they had a lot of complaints.

When I was in San Francisco the weather was perfect so I was under the impression that it is always perfect weather there.
07-24-2018 , 03:01 AM
Most newer places in LA has air conditioning these days.

Thinking SF having perfect weather just indicates you didn't stay very long.
07-24-2018 , 03:31 AM
That’s true. I only got to spend a week there.
07-24-2018 , 04:08 AM
I hope it has perfect weather when I'm there. Spending a few days in LA/Fullerton, driving up to San Francisco for a week, going to a wedding near San Jose, then back to LA.
